I've been doing some research and have also organized and managed several other club's shows in the last 2 years - there are plenty of venues, but not many that are inexpensive. I have access to cooping and tables, but it's not easy to get the entire show set-up from north of Spokane to distant locations. We've had good luck in the last year or so adding our specialty shows onto other shows, so we can share equipment, judges, and facilities. This club doesn't yet have insurance, so that's another issue - can we use the host club's insurance, or just have shows at homes, like we did last month at our farm? Clubs interested in allowing specialty clubs to join them include the Yakima club, the Yelm club, the Kalispell (MT) club (probably on Friday night before the show), the Sandpoint (ID) club (either on Friday night or during the weekend - depends on which building they get), the Spokane club (for their Davenport show only, on Friday night before the show), the Moses Lake youth club, and the Tri-State club.

Yakima show sounds fun! It would be centralized for everyone. I'm planning on sanctioning Brits already for that show. I should have my young stock on the table then too. I'm sanctioning Brits for TCRA in March. -- Molly
